Hi Killin Hotel. Myself John, and my wife Gail had a wonderful Christmas at the Killin Hotel. The accommodation and the staff were awesome. Our Christmas dinner was the best we have ever had. Please pass on our thanks to a special Lady, Prachi. This wonderful person helped make our visit very special. 10+ Stars.

We were staying in Killin and stopped by on the off chance we’d be able to get a table for dinner. The service from the staff was outstanding from the minute we stepped through the door. We were advised there would be a little wait for food as it was really busy but it came quickly and it was probably one of the best meals out I’ve had. Reasonably priced, great location & the staff could not be more attentive - highly recommend!

This is for the restaurant. We went to another pub in town that said they served food till 9, but when we walked in at 8, they said they were done serving food. Our only option (seriously) was the Killin Hotel. We went right away, and I asked if dinner was still being served. The worker checked and said he could keep the kitchen open for us. They were incredibly nice to do that, and the food was absolutely fantastic. I'm from Chicago, which is a huge foodie city, and their paneer buttery curry was the best I've ever had. Their naan was fresh and fantastic. The restaurant was warm and inviting, and it was honestly my best meal in Scotland this trip. I highly recommend.

24 Aug 2025 Excellent location on the banks of the River Lochay and surround with Ben Lawers. Friendly staff and good service, nice room with comfortable bed and river view, I love the lift. My husband seen Brewer on the edge of River Lochay in the early morning. We have a nice meal in hotel restaurant, the food was very tasty. would definitively back again when we pass that area.

Me and by partner stayed here for 3 nights and found our stay very pleasant. The food in the evening is delicious. There is a cold buffet for breakfast but only 3 hot breakfast dishes to choose from. So could do with more of a variety and it definitely wasn’t worth £15pp. We had our dog with us and did find the room quite small, but it was clean, tidy and had everything you needed. Although we did find the bed extremely uncomfortable, the lady at reception did give us an extra sheet to put on top of the mattress but it didn’t really make much difference. The staff are very attentive and helpful, they all work very hard and are polite and friendly. The hotel itself is in a remote and quiet location but this suited us. Lots of beautiful walks nearby which we took full advantage of. All in all we had a really great stay. Thank you Killin Hotel.

We had a super time at the Killin Hotel. Large party of winter hill walkers. Rooms great. Food excellent- big portions, hearty menu, all cooked very very well. Breakfast selection superb. Beers, wines and whisky all very good/decent. Great value. Location excellent for Ben Lawers etc. The BEST thing about the Killin Hotel was the staff- professional, kind, humorous and happy to accommodate and look after a large party.
